Don't you dream impossible dreams? - Taylor Swift

What goes up must come down

That first taste of alcohol rapidly causes changes in two types of brain chemicals. These orchestrate much of alcohol’s effects on our thoughts, feelings and coordination.
One chemical called GABA, acts like a sedative to calm the brain down, while the other, called glutamate, excites the brain and makes it more active.
And the frontal lobe is exquisitely sensitive to alcohol, so as we drink more, our ability to think straight and integrate all of our thoughts become lost.

Like the simple rule of physics "what goes up must come down"
The high, the excitement ends, eventually. Then what are we left with really? Does the emotional brain swing to the other end and dive into sadness?

And what we think about when we reach that point, what does it say about us. When all we can feel is how much we don't want to be where we are at that point. When all we want is to cry for help, but are still ourselves enough to know better.

I was happy, irrationally happy. And I also felt too many things. But it's good right? We all need to feel all that at some point right?
