chances that slip by
Viva was much better than expected. I thought i'd be cringing half the time. But practically the whole time i was in awe. The way they seemed to seamlessly blend the different cultures and genres.
Then there's the stage.
my god.... the stage
was huge, it was sooooooooooo wide. sighh
and the screen! that they kept rubbing in my face, the stuff i could do with that screen!
flashbacks and time travel would be awesome with the screen.
and the smoke, that they so lavishly poured out like water, nooo.
the lights ahhhh. though seriously at some acts their lighting and costume choice did not do good
like the performers which your meant to highlight sorta faded into the floor/light. so yeahh.
I don't think it can be called a stage, i think its called a piece of land.
hmmmm if only i had a chance to be on that stage.
But it was weird like my thoughts keep swinging from being on stage to wanting to be in the audience.
Something like i want to act and be on stage, yet direct the thing. Putting the lights and costumes and choosing the props and just adding to the wholeness of the entire play.
A lot of people have been counting down/getting emotional on facebook.
uhh this could have been my last chance, to ever do something like that again. ever.
my last chance to be someone else,
and now its longs gone
As I sit at stare at the wall of posters I think of what could have been.
Maybe someday we'll figure out how to abandon regret, then i guess that would be the day.
The day we most feel liberated. Where we're no longer in a limbo, our sins washed away and we need not fear if it ever comes back.
